Good Neighbors Cameroon (GNCMR), is a branch of the International NGO Good Neighbors International (GNI), based in Seoul, South Korea. GNI has been in existence since 1991 and works in up to 40 countries around the whole world, principally in the domain ofhumanitarian action and community development.


Project Background:
The government of Republic ofKorea through his International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) will fund Good Neighbors to implement "Community-led management of Neglected Tropical Diseases through improvement of drinking water and sanitation environment in Central Region of Cameroon".
Good Neighbors Cameroon will implement the project from January 2022 to December 2024 in the Centre Region, Cameroon. Specifically, it will target all school age children from 5-15years living in the Centre Region in order to reduce morbidity and mortality by controlling NTDs, particularly schistosomiasis (SCH) and soil-transmitted helminthiasis (STH). Activities will include mass drug administration (MDA) support, community-led water and sanitation education/campaign, borehole installation, and so on.

Job Description:
Under the supervision of the AD Manager, the Logistician Assistant will collaborate with the employees and volunteers of the organization.
She/he has to:
•9 Procurement
  Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations
  Communicate with suppliers, to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction
     Order office supplies, book travel arrangements for all staffs, provide general support to visitors, organize and schedule meetings/appointments, prepare and monitor invoices, maintain up-to-date employee holiday records, book conference calls, rooms, taxis, couriers, hotels etc., photocopy and print documents on behalf of other staffs, and so on   Prepare payment request
  Involve in training in-country project staffs in terms of GNCMR and KOICA regulations of Logistics
  Collaborate with the team to build and maintain good partnerships/relationships with other colleagues
 
     Undertake any other project related duties assigned by Administration Manager and Project Manager
Reporting
     Prepare accurate reports for the hierarchy
     Ensure that internal shared documents are fully up-to-date at all times   Prepare weekly/monthly in-country AD report
+ ensuring the maintenance of buildings   supervises or carries out all maintenance work      supervises day laborer and service providers contacted for occasional work   makes inspection visits to the office to identify possible repairs
  Stock and asset management
  Monitoring of stock management
     Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders…
     Supervise orders and arrange stocking of items and equipment to ensure they meet needs   Detects computer problems and ensures that they are solved by himself or by a service provider
     Ensure premises, assets and communication ways are used effectively   Ensures the daily management of the project's equipment
  Fleet management
  Management ofthe Koica NTD project car fleet
  Ensures the daily movement of vehicles
  Makes vehicle rental reservations according to the needs of the users
  Ensures the security and administrative management of the use of the vehicles

Required Qualifications:
To be admissible for this position, the candidate must satisfy the minimum qualification.
The candidates would be preselected and those who meet the minimum qualification would be considered. The minimum qualifications necessary for the position are listed below:
•    Bachelor's Degree in Logistic with at least 3 years directly relevant work experience; or equivalent combination of academic and work experience
•    Fluency in written and spoken English and French
•    Computer literacy with MS word, excel, and power point
•    Perfect knowledge of IT tools
•    Good report writing skills
•    Good knowledge of the organization of a warehouse site
•    Knowledge of planning techniques
•    Ability to manage stocks and supplies
•    Good analytical skills and ability to summarize
•    Attention to detail; proactive, adaptable and flexible as required;
•    Willingness to work under pressure and high work load with a positive mind and attitude
•    Willingness to be on the field
•    Ability to adapt oneself to different circumstances
•    Ability to undertake domestic travel
•    Ability to deliver assigned duties on time with accuracy
•    Ability to have good relationships with internal and external partners/colleagues
•    Integrity in any circumstances
•    To be in excellent health condition
•    Experience of working in international NGO would be an asset.
