Mission :

Main Purpose of Role :

Globeleq is implementing IFS Applications 10 across all sites in London and Africa as a single ERP system. The scope of the single Globeleq IFS system includes all existing and future power plants, as well as the London headquarters and the following domains:

Operations & maintenance
Project & construction
Finance & controlling
Consolidation & management reporting
Human Resources management
Environment & social governance
The IFS technical Expert is responsible for providing technical leadership and administration across the full lifecycle of IFS Applications projects: enhancement projects, rolling out the core model to new Globeleq sites, system changes, etc.

Key Main Responsibilities

Deep understdanding of the validated processes to provide necessary technical and functional supports on the application to end users from all domains (O&M, HR, Finance, procurement, etc..)
Develop expertise in the IFS standard functionalities and customization possibilities to recommend adequate solutions to business challenges
Develop and maintain application interfaces
Develop and maintain customized functionalities and objects
Develop and maintain workflows
Develop and maintain reports through crystal reports or IFS tools
Data Management including migrations
Develop expertise in the IFS architecture; how it runs on and how components integrate with each other.
Provide necessary training to end users and develop appropriate manuals & medias for training and self-service.
Assistance to management and end users to secure the first go-live
Engage in technical coordination, design and implementation for the integration of next rollouts within the live environment
Establish solid working relationships with stakeholders and an understanding of segment business models
Ensure timely resolution of incidents and requests in IFS and the meeting of Service center KPIs
Meet the customer satisfaction objectives
Strict compliance to the Service centre procedures and charter
Proper documentation (processes, knowledge base, designs, etc….)
Recommend new feature or changes to customized objects/ workflows based on user feedback.

Profil :

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications

The preferred candidate would have:

Prior experience of implementing or supporting a major ERP system
Strong Experience in software development (java is an advantage), and a readiness to learn new programs as they are introduced and incorporated.
Strong Experience in oracle SQl development and report building.
functional knowledge of an ERP application in the business domains listed above
IT Engineering degree
Project management skills
ITIL (Service Management) experience or certification
Capability to remotely support end users
Ability to interact with multi-team environment
Prior knowledge in the power generation industry or similar asset intensive industry
Experience in an international environment
knowledge of ticketing tools (freeware and software)


Bilingual: English & French
Proficient in architecture, configuration and customization of ERP systems
Software development (java, etc…)
