PRESPRINT Plc a company based in Limbe, South West Region announces the following job vacancy: NETWORK ADMININISTRATOR
Academic qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or any other related field
Certification
- CompTIA A+ or a diploma in Computer maintenance
- CCNA and CCNP mandatory.
- Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate or a diploma in network security would be an additional advantage
Work Experience
- Minimum work experience of 2 years in networking troubleshooting or technical experience in managing Computer Networks.
Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the IT Manager, He/She will
- Installing and configuring computer networks and systems, make upgrades and repairs as needed.
- Oversee local area network and wide area network.
- Identifying and solving any problems that arise with computer networks and systems
- Consulting with clients to specify system requirements and design solutions
- Maintaining existing software and hardware and upgrading any that have become obsolete
- Monitoring computer networks and systems by collecting and analyzing data to identify how performance can be optimized.
- Working with IT support personnel
- Train users on hardware and software.
- Providing network administration and support, , as well as respond to after-hours emergencies when needed
- Communicate and document all network related issues to management.
